Alaska – Days 1, 2 and 3

Trust me, this is a VERY small portion of photos I’ve already taken on our three days here. I’m up to at least 400 and that’s just ones I deemed ok to keep on the memory card and didn’t delete straight from the camera. Internets here are pretty slow and I’m guessing tomorrow I’ll totally be without until Saturday, so wanted to put something up for now.

This is the view from my plane on the way from Detroit to Anchorage.

This is Holgate Glacier located in Aialik Bay during our day long whale watching tour.

The Kenai River as seen from our lodge that we’re staying in tonight.

Tomorrow we head up to Denali and then on Monday we head inland where at points I’ll be MILES from the nearest road.
