Good bye 2009, hello 2010

So last new years one of my resolutions was to take a picture every day in 2009 a task I’m pretty proud to say I accomplished. Not all of the pictures are all that pretty, but I really enjoyed it. To see all 365 of them you can see them here on my flickr page.

For 2010 I wanted to keep the 365 photo project alive but give it a twist. This year I’m going to try and blog every day about each picture rather than just putting it on flickr. I’m hoping it’ll help me hone my blogging skills.

The first picture for 2010 comes from the first day of the duck hunt my dad, brother and I are on in St. Charles, Arkansas. Wake up call was at 4:30 am and we were on the lake by 6 am. As soon as it became legal for us to hunt the ducks started flying in and really didn’t stop until we got close to our limit. (we would have hit more ducks sooner, but the shooting in the morning was terrible. I think the ducks had extra armor on them)
