Madison, Wisconsin

While DC was getting covered in 30 inches of snow this weekend I decided I was still going to try and make it to Madison for the outdoor hockey game. Bad decision. Don’t get me wrong I had fun seeing some of my professors and my friends as well as walking around campus some taking pictures. But getting home was a disaster. Flight was canceled so I drove from Wisconsin to DC yesterday. Roads were fine until we hit 270/495. Driving on GW Parkway was amazing with all the snow on the trees, but I still didn’t get home until 2 am and then couldn’t fall asleep until 4:30. I’m also bummed I didn’t get to experience one of the biggest blizzards DC has ever seen.

Anyways, here’s a picture I took of Bascom Hall – I’ll have a bunch more to come but I’m starting to hit an afternoon wall off of my only 3 hours of sleep last night. I’ve also taken a few pictures of all the snow outside my apartment – they’re here on my Flickr account if you’re interested in seeing them.
