Taken at National Harbor a sailboat floats waiting for its captain. In all fairness do have to share that I used content aware to get rid of boats behind this one plus a whole bunch of lightroom presets so I could get the solitary look I was going for.

It’s not really the hand from the Addams family enshrined forever, but the hand from the sculpture The Awakening sure reminded me of it.

On Sunday some friends and I headed down to National Harbor. I had never been and wanted to see The Awakening sculpture. Got a few good pictures but this is one of my favorites. Makes it look like the giant is about to pick the sailboat right up.

Just another addition to my Washington, DC collection. This one of good ‘ol Abe at the Lincoln Memorial. I wanted to put Peter Panda on his lap and take a picture like people do with the Abe statue at Bascom Hill in Madison, but decided I didn’t want to have a visit with security guards....
