This is a sheep poster I made for my mom for Mothers Day from the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival we went to while she was here.

Jackson Square

An HDR of Jackson Square in the French Quarter of New Orleans. In full disclosure got some help from CS5′s content aware to get rid of a few pesky tourists.

New Orleans

Had a fabulous time in New Orleans this weekend for my old Rudy boss, Ted Jarret’s wedding. Had a chance to wander around the French Quarter and Lafayette Cemetery while there and have quite a few photos to process. Here’s a first one of the beautiful balconies in the French Quarter.

Happy Friday!

Some happy goodness for your Friday. I’m headed to New Orleans for a friends wedding so I’ll have a bunch of pictures from there to share next week!

Wheel Spokes

This is another picture of a dome inside the Capitol though I don’t remember exactly where.

Ceiling of Statuary Hall

This is an HDR image of the ceiling in statuary hall in the US Capitol. Was once the Old House Chamber.

Capitol Fountain

A fountain I drive by every day on my way home on the Senate side of the Capitol. It’s been so hot and humid here lately it would have been nice to take a swim in. But I did not. This is an HDR from a single image done using Topaz Adjust.

Capitol Dome

Had an awesome weekend with my Mom in town and the ability to play DC tourist. This is from the top of the US Capitol dome from the rotunda. Find more info here on the fresco and other artwork: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Capitol#Interior
