I went to Iowa for a few days with some friends to do a quick little tour - ending with the Iowa State Fair. I had an absolute blast. Here are some of the pics from the trip.
Hidden in Northeast DC is one of the most beautiful parks I've ever visited - the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. Headed there this morning to take some photos (I was not the only one in DC with that idea). Below are some of my favs. You can see them all on my Flickr account.

One of my favorite sites, photojojo, has this thing you can sign up for where every month it'll send you pics from the prior year you took at that time. Since Jacob was born one year ago on the 30th, and everyone loves baby pics, here's a look at what was going on then.

As one would expect I took quite a few pictures this weekend - my mom's garden was just beautiful - so I'll be uploading new pics I took throughout the week. These first four are ones I took early Saturday morning after Jacob woke me up around 6 am.
