My friend Mac embarks on a journey today that I'm very envious of. He's going to start in NYC, then drive up to Newfoundland, take some ferries into Labrador and drive through Canada back to the mid-Atlantic. He'll be going from one of the biggest cities in the world to some of the most desolate, but beautiful land.
