John Kerry gave Republicans one of the greatest gifts in 2004 when he uttered the phrase that he'd voted for the $80 million or whatever it was before he voted against it. I mean, the RNC comms shop couldn't have scripted it better. Now Obama today in response to not wanting to answer a question on foreign policy says, "Why can't I just eat my waffle?"

In the scheme of things is him saying this going to make anywhere close to the difference Kerry's did? No, but it just makes Obama look stupid and gives Republicans some great material to make fun of him with. Something I certainly don't mind.
