Was just perusing iTunes and saw that David Cook takes three of the top 10 songs on iTunes tonight. Not too shabby for someone who hasn't been the idol for a week yet.

I have to say this has by far been one of my favorite idols. I think I like this one more than the Carrie Underwood one just because I think this season had more talent. I liked a whole bunch of them: Cook, Carly, Brooke and even Archuletta at the end. I'm very happy with the winner too. I won't ruin it for anyone, but if you've been following my blog posts about it you can guess based on my happiness. :)

Meant to write this last night but the site was down. I wasn't a huge fan of David Cook's first song last night but his second choice was really good. In fact I thought most of the Idols' second performances were better than the first last night (and they were rushing through it all too fast, but I get it if you're trying to fit two songs each in one hour). My guess (or perhaps it's hope) is that Jason gets kicked off this week. But we'll see.

Carly was one of my TOP favorites on Idol and I am absolutely mystified on how America could have her and Syesha in the bottom two when Brooke (who I also like) and Jason (who I don't) totally butchered their songs. I certainly hope she puts out a CD because I bought many of her songs off of iTunes this year and would definitely buy an album.
